Hope

As I search for an agent, I am reminded of all the struggles we go through on our life-journey~But, there is always hope, and if we keep that hope alive and trust God with each step, He will lead and guide and show the way.  Never give up, there are as many doors to open as there are ones that have been closed on your efforts!

A Vision for Sharing...

As I ponder God's glory and grace, I also wonder how He wants me to share that with others. I have blogs and networking in place, but my vision is to publish tangible calendars, stationary, postcards, prints suitable for framing, coffee table books...all laced with His insights and wisdom to inspire hope, lead others to faith in Christ, and encourage my brothers and sisters in the Lord. If you have ideas or suggestions, I'm open :)

I have decided to take a different direction with this blog and make it about my writing, art and photography. I truly want to be a faithful servant with the abilities the Lord has blessed me, and so I'm venturing out. I hope you will come along with me on this journey...I could use a lot of prayer support and your expert insights and suggestions!!

Our Solid Rock....

Windy sprays of angry lake waters dash against barrier rocks, but they stand firm~unmovable. Could we but understand the analogies within God's Word about Jesus being a rock~a strong, immovable barrier between us and satan~we would lift our heads, don our spiritual armor, and stand firm in our warfare against the onslaught of hell's hosts! We are kings and priests of the Most High God~it's time we took our rightful place at the side of the Prince of Heaven, the Lord of Lord and King of Kings...It's Time!

The Heavens Speak...

For all that I behold in the skies, nothing stirs my heart more than the majesty of color in the clouds at sunset and sunrise, especially when it's stormy. I marvel at the way God uses the heavens to communicate what is in His heart to all who dwell on the earth, if they would but open their eyes and take the time to listen.

How fleeting the days of Summer...how fast fall the leaves of Autumn. I search for rubies amid treasures of gold and rejoice in the rays of sunlight and blessings.

Morning Praise

Fill the heavens with Your majesty, and ever will I praise You, Lord. Light up the morning with the brilliance of a thousand hues of lavenders and pinks and blues and spread the truth of Your presence throughout the heavens. You, alone, are worthy of our worship!

Flood Waters...

Tears flowed, overwhelming the land. Sorrows flooded the area and lives would never be the same. North Dakota flood plains brought tears to my eyes as I witnessed the devastation~homes, farms, crops...all destroyed and still under water after 5 months. I found these verses...and pray those who have suffered will find their comfort in the Lord.

I'm learning a lesson in friendship...the hard way. Not everyone who says they are your best friend will lift you up when you are down. Some will only be there when you are sweet and funny and giving. Some will turn away when you need them the most. And that's when you turn to the only bff you will ever have. The Lord's friendship and love is forever...

Baby pink tendrils drift through mauve clouds before the world sinks into darker more vivid shades of pinks and lavender.  God gives us hints each morning and evening as to what awaits us in His reality. Never be too busy to stop and wonder...

Rendezvous

Two glorious globes meet at the end of the day for a few brief moments. The full moon blushes behind a veil of pink as the sun blows kisses and whispers goodbye...some feelings can be expressed with shouts of praise, and some with a just a sigh...
