Metamorphic Dawn

Metamorphic Dawn
A soft blush of rose spreads across the early morning horizon
against the fading hue of indigo blue.
Trees appear as charcoal sketches,
dark silhouettes backlit by a numinous moon.
The wind has not yet awakened,
and a spiritual hush wraps me in its soft cocoon.
I stand breathless,
like a butterfly emerging from the womb of transformation.
A moment in God’s presence always inspires change…
I will never be the same.

Dancing With Spring

Dancing With Spring

Come, Spring, sprout you wings and hasten to my garden.
Feather your nest with warm sunbeams and lichen from
the mossy streams, then bid farewell to wintry dreams,
and dance with me in the mornin’.

Make Room For Today...

Make room for today;
you never know what treasures it might surprise you with...
what wisdom it might impart...
what joy it might bring…
