Metamorphic Dawn

Metamorphic Dawn
A soft blush of rose spreads across the early morning horizon
against the fading hue of indigo blue.
Trees appear as charcoal sketches,
dark silhouettes backlit by a numinous moon.
The wind has not yet awakened,
and a spiritual hush wraps me in its soft cocoon.
I stand breathless,
like a butterfly emerging from the womb of transformation.
A moment in God’s presence always inspires change…
I will never be the same.

Laury, take a moment some morning and ask the Lord to speak to you as you watch His handiwork! He will!!!
